The kit for thrombin time determination are intended for use in screening tests to detect functional activity of fibrinogen and thrombin inhibitors in plasma:
\n– products of fibrin\/fibrinogen degradation;
\n– heparin and heparinoids;
\n– fibrinolytic therapy.
\nAnomalous thrombin time is observed in cases of hypofibrinogenemia, afibrinogenemia and dysfibrinogenemia. Principle Method is based on the fact that after
\nadding of thrombin to citrate plasma time of clot forming depends only on quantity and activity of fibrinogen in this plasma, activity of thrombin and
\npresence of inhibitors. Reaction has one stage.<\/p>\n
