PROTEIN C
The kit is intended for the detection of protein C activity in human blood plasma to diagnose innate and acquired deficit of this anticoagulant.
Principle. Method of detection of protein C activity in blood plasma is based on the ability of activated protein C to hydrolyze peptide chromogen
substrate. Quantity of released dye pNA is in direct proportion to activity of protein C in plasma sample. Protein C of plasma is activated by
adding of purified extract of Agkistrodon contortrix contortrix toxin. Process has following scheme:
Protein C + activator (surplus) ==> Activated protein C
Activated protein C + peptide – pNA ==> peptide + pNA
REACHROM PROTEIN C – TEST
The kit of reagents for the determination protein C activity by
photometric method
Cat. # PFA-5 for 20-100 assays.
Reagents:
– concentrated buffer (2 mL) – 1 vial;
– protein C activator (5 mL), lyophilized – 2 vials;
– standard plasma (1 mL), lyophilized – 1 vial;
– chromogenic substrate (2 mL), lyophilized – 2 vials
PROREIN C Screening Test
The kit of reagents for the
determination of total activity of
protein C system.
Cat. # PFA-3-for 40-80 assays.
The kit is intended for the detection of innate or acquired deficiency of
protein C system and for the detection mutant factor V (Leiden), resistant to
protein C, by clotting method.
ReaPrC/FV Test
The kit of reagents for the determination
of total activity of protein C system.
Cat. # PFA-4-for 10-20 assays.
New form of hereditary thrombophilia is characterized. In the base of this form factor V Leiden presents among patients.
Main of this form is that factor V Leiden
(mutant factor V of coagulation system) has resistance to the action of activated
protein C, that leads to increase of internal and external coagulation ways and raises frequency of thrombosis: thrombosis of
peripheral veins, myocardial infarction, thromboembolism of pulmonary artery,
thrombosis of retina veins and others.
CONTROL PLASMA with normal and
abnormal level of anticoagulation
system of protein C
The kit of reagents for the determination of total activity of protein C system.
Cat. # PFA-6/7: normal level (1ml)-3 vials, abnormal level (1ml)-3 vials.
Control plasma with normal level of anticoagulation system of protein C is used for control the detection of total
activity of protein C system and for
the detection of resistance of activated FVa to the action of activated protein
C. It is used with the kits “Protein C
test” and “ReaPrC/FV test”.
