RENAM has developed all necessary range of modern reagents containing lyophilized thromboplastin of rabbit brain with International
Sensitivity Index (ISI) 1,1-1,2 prescribed under International Standard, which is necessary for calculation of International Normalized Ratio (INR), as well as the kit for the detection of
prothrombin time in capillary blood.
The results of prothrombin time determination are accepted as prothrombin time in sec, as % normal, in terms of INR.
Principle. When surplus of tissue thromboplastin and calcium ions are added to citrate plasma, time of forming of fibrin clot depends only on activity of coagulation factors of external and total pathway of coagulation: FI, FII, FV, FVII, FX.
