Haemostasis is brought about by the interplay between the blood cells, the blood platelets, vessel endothelium and a set of proteins of the blood plasma, the factors of coagulation system.
Coagulation factors are synthesized mainly in liver and circulate in blood plasma in inactive form of proenzymes. During damaging influence
proenzymes begin to activate each other in order to form fibrin clot for hemorrhage prevention.
The kit is intended for diagnostics of Hemophilia A and thrombophilia, observation for treatment results and for control testing of anti-hemophilic pharmaceuticals.
Principle. The base of the method is APTT test in diluted sample. Reduced coagulation factors activity is compensated by adding substrate
plasma in incubation medium, which doesn’t contain FVIII but contains full activity of other coagulation factors. So, activity of FVIII in tested
sample is the only unknown detecting speed of coagulation process.
Quantitative detection of factor VIII is made under calibration graph of dilutions of plasma-calibrator
with certified factor VIII activity.

Reducing of FXIII level is observed among patients with
innate deficit and secondary syndrome at heavy liver injury, sepsis, radiation
sickness, after heavy operations. Clinical picture of FXIII deficit is shown by
heavy hemorrhagic syndrome, bleeding duration may be 12- 36 hours.
